The genuine bonds we formed, with our Sri Lankan brothers, still thrills me to this day.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

There are many opportunities to get involved with the Cricket Live Foundation in Sri Lanka. Opportunities range from High School students coming across to help out at the centres during their holidays or once they have finished school, right through to Program Assistant opportunities for anyone over the age of 25. There are several options for accommodation, based on budget requirements. We will price each experience based on the individuals requirements and budget. Please contact us for more information about these experiences. All Volunteers will incur a NZD$450 placement fee. This fee covers airport pick up, 24/7 support from CLF staff, a tailored volunteering itinerary, administration costs and a 10% donation (NZD$45) to the Foundation.

PROGRAM ASSISTANT

There is far more to the Cricket Live centres than just cricket. If you do not see yourself as a cricket coach, then becoming a program assistant at a Cricket Live centre will be a perfect way to get involved.

"My time in Sri Lanka was surreal! I never thought that I would travel to Sri Lanka in my lifetime and to do so and be a part of the community like I was, was incredibly special. It is hugely rewarding and was an awesome chance to help others while also developing myself."
